Grant Asset Management was founded in 2018 by Douglas F. Grant, CFP®, with the sole mission of offering clients an opportunity to meet their financial objectives through ethical, unbiased, and competent professional guidance.
Grant Asset Management is an all-encompassing asset management practice built on sound financial planning. Our goal as a firm is to help clients build, manage, and protect their wealth.
About Our Founder
DOUGLAS F. GRANT, CFP ®
Douglas received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Saint Peter’s University. He has completed the education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements established by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Douglas is the Founder and President of Grant Asset Management, a wealth management firm providing financial planning, investment management, and risk management services to individuals, as well as retirement plan and insurance solutions for businesses. Prior to founding Grant Asset Management, Douglas worked in the financial services industry as both a Financial Advisor and Financial Analyst with AXA Equitable, Fidelity Investments, and Total Financial Concepts, Inc.
While attending Saint Peter’s University, Douglas earned a full Division I athletic scholarship to play baseball for the Peacocks. He has remained active in youth athletics and enjoys sharing his experience through coaching baseball, softball, and basketball.
Douglas has also supported the Lustgarten Foundation, an organization dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research. Douglas is also an Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in Scouting, reflecting his commitment to leadership, service, and community.
Douglas resides in Middletown, New Jersey, with his wife, Jacqueline, their daughter, Annabelle, and their son, Colin. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dog Lola, cooking, and coaching baseball, softball, and basketball.
